Show Rules

  1. Exhibitors must be 18 years of age or younger as of January 1. 2021. (6 year olds & younger WILL be allowed to show in the breeding and market shows if they wish to do so)

  2. You MUST show out of your trailer and pick up your things before you leave. (straw, hay, trash, ect.)

  3. Fitting is allowed if you wish to do so but is not required.

  4. Drenching and/or pumping of an animal will be allowed as long as it is for the benefit of the animal.

  5. Purebred Hogs, Sheep, and Cattle MUST have registration papers with them at the time of check in. If the papers are not in hand you will show as a crossbred.

  6. There will be breeding and market shows for all species. Hogs, Sheep, and Cattle will show by breed and age. Does will show as Commercial and by age. 

  7. Showmanship will be by age of exhibitor Senior (14-18) Intermediate (13-10) Junior (9-7) Peewee (6 and under) 

  8. Keep rough physical contact to a minimum. If we see you hitting/beating your animals numerous times we will ask you to leave and you will be disqualified.

  9. Be a decent human being and respect other peoples property & space. 

  10. Market animals will weigh in during their specified time and will show by the weight they are when they walk across the scale. There will be NO declared weights and we WILL NOT do weigh backs. 

  11. If you aren't sure on a rule, ask before you do.

General Rules

1. There will be breeding shows for all species, Sheep and Goats will only have a Commercial Ewe/Doe show. They WILL NOT show by breeds. 

2. Goats will show Saturday morning, we will take a 30 minute break after the conclusion of the goat show before the sheep show. The same will be done Sunday, Hogs will start Sunday morning, 30 minute break and then the Cattle show.

3. Weigh in for Goats will be from 7-9 a.m. on Saturday. Sheep will weigh in from 11-1. Hogs will weigh in from 7-9 a.m. on Sunday. Cattle will weigh in from 11-1.

4. The order each show will be Showmanship (starting with senior) Breeding show, and then the market show. 

5. The Hog and Cattle Breeding show's will show alphabetical order by breed. Sheep and Goat breeding show's will be a commercial show with 3-4 divisions depending on numbers.

6. All market animals except cattle will show by weight. Cattle will show alphabetical order by breed.

7. Shailyn's word is final. If you have questions or concerns, ask. But what she says it what goes.
